Sarnadih Sandstone Fm
Lithology and Thickness
Conglomerate, red-brown sandstone, shale. It is an extensive interval of red sandstone, with a
thin conglomerate horizon mantling the unconformity surface. The conglomerate grades up to pebbly sandstone (Fig. – image B) and very coarse-grained arkosic sandstone.
